With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Made for fans of a good con and anyone who likes watching someone settle a score. Half the pleasure is trying to spot the trick before the reveal. Fans of Heat or Dogman should feel right at home. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning.
- The mood
- Tense, gritty.
- The pace
- Lean, with little time wasted, at 1 hr 30 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- It's in Italian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Made in 1975: an older pace and style.
- Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.
A man's daughter is killed by thieves during a bank robbery. Due to the incompetence of the corrupt authorities, he decides to take to law into his own hands and track down the killers.
