Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Right up the alley of anyone who loves an underdog and fans of a well-timed joke. The sport matters, but the people playing it matter more. Same wavelength as The Brand New Testament.
- The mood
- Light and funny.
- The pace
- Quick and easy-going, at 2 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
- Made in 1900: an older pace and style.
- Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.
A series of fantastical wrestling matches.
