Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who likes a cape with their popcorn and sci-fi fans. Comic-book roots, so expect big stakes and bigger set pieces.
The mood
Exciting.
The pace
Well paced, at 1 hr 9 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Turkish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1979: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you like your stories firmly grounded in the real world.

Born out of a Christmas ornaments-filled heaven, Turkish Superman fights the mob in order to save the day!
