Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- A natural pick for people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter and anyone who loves a strong drama. Paris does a lot of the work, and it looks wonderful. Liked Before Sunset or Dangerous Liaisons? This is a good next one.
- The mood
- Warm and romantic.
- The pace
- Lets scenes breathe, at 10 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.
While he's receiving an enigmatic phone call from his girlfriend Francine, Thomas remembers the milestones of their relationship, from the very moment they met in a really strange way. A segment of “Paris, je t'aime” (2006).
