Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for anyone drawn to the darker side of the street and people who like stories about real, flawed people. One to watch when you can give it your full attention. Shelve it next to A Sun or The Asphalt Jungle.
The mood: Dark and gritty.
The pace: Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off: It's in Chinese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Two Chinese miners, who make money by killing fellow miners and then extorting money from the mine owner to keep quiet about the "accident", happen upon their latest victim. But one of them begins to have second thoughts.
