Who'll love it
A natural pick for anyone who likes watching an argument won and people who'll be looking things up afterwards. The best scenes are battles fought with words. Shelve it next to Midnight Express or Boys Don't Cry. Based on real events, so expect to go down a research rabbit hole afterwards.
The mood
Dark and gritty.
The pace
Character-first and patient, at 2 hr 9 min.
