Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Great for people who'll be humming afterwards and people who'll be looking things up afterwards. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. Based on real events, so expect to go down a research rabbit hole afterwards.
The mood: Eye-opening.
The pace: Well paced for a documentary, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off: It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you want made-up drama tonight.

An impressionistic biographical look at Siddheshwari Devi (1908–1977), the classical Indian singer whose voice was appreciated by the maharajas and public alike.
