Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Tailor-made for people who like the lights on afterwards and anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. Sits nicely alongside Sherlock Jr. or Beetlejuice.
The mood
Light and funny, tense.
The pace
Moves at a clip, at 2 hr 8 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

As per the demands of the villagers, the government builds a dam in Vellimala. However, things take a turn when the government decides to destroy the dam as it is marked unsafe.
