Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who's already planned their apocalypse hideout and fans of close encounters. The undead are the backdrop; how people treat each other is the real story. Liked Grindhouse? This is a good next one. The aliens are the hook, but the human reactions are the story.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 22 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
  • It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

Two fugitives try to stop an alien invasion that reproduce by sodomizing men.
