Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among fans of swords, quests and kingdoms and anyone looking to switch off and smile, this one's for you. A proper quest, with a world big enough to get lost in. Sits nicely alongside Lawrence of Arabia or Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
The mood
Light and funny, intense.
The pace
Light on its feet, at 1 hr 44 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Korean, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

When the king of Silla joins forces with the Tang Emperor to take over Korea, the king of Baekje calls on a legendary warrior to protect his country.
