Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for anyone who loves a world with magic in it and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. Its magic has rules, and the story plays by them.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 16 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1968: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.

Santo must battle an evil witch and the demons and evil spirits she brings up from Hell.
