Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at people who can't resist a good whodunit and people who like their stories with a little danger. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Fans of The Great Mouse Detective or The Dark Crystal should feel right at home.
The mood
Gritty.
The pace
Lively and easy to follow, at 1 hr 30 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
  • No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
  • Made in 1971: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you want something with an edge.
