Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among anyone who loves watching the truth get chased down and western fans, this one's for you. It's about the digging, and what it costs to get the story.
The mood
Easygoing.
The pace
Never drags, at 1 hr 22 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Made in 1955: an older pace and style.

Claudette Colbert plays Prudence Webb, who arrives in the wide-open town of Fort Ralston, Texas, to assume control of her late father's newspaper. Her first major print crusade is aimed at gambler Chris Mooney, whom Prudence holds responsible for her dad's suicide. She then takes aim at a couple of crooked cattle barons, who'd like nothing better than to put Prudence out of the way for keeps.
