Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone who likes a story with a soundtrack worth keeping and anyone who wants a laugh. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. Shelve it next to That Thing You Do! or Lemonade Mouth.
The mood
Funny with heart.
The pace
Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 23 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
