Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of lovers of period drama and anyone who's ever talked to their pet. The costumes and settings are a feast on their own. Liked The Favourite? This is a good next one. An animal steals a fair few scenes.
The mood
Funny with heart.
The pace
Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 40 min.
What might put you off
Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Set in Edwardian England where upper lips are always stiff and men from the Colonies are not entirely to be trusted, Fisk Senior has little time or affection for his son, but when the pair visit an eccentric Indian, they start a strange journey that eventually allows the old man to find his heart.
