Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: If you count yourself among anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and fans of a good haunting, this one's for you. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Liked Lake Mungo or The Taking of Deborah Logan? This is a good next one. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps.
The mood: Scary.
The pace: Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 46 min.
What might put you off: Rated R: meant for adults.
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Renowned "ghost hunter", Carter Simms is paid to conduct a paranormal investigation of a supposedly haunted house. Along with a cameraman, a reporter, and a spiritual advocate, she embarks on a three night journey into terror.
