Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- A natural pick for anyone who likes a cape with their popcorn and animal lovers. Comic-book roots, so expect big stakes and bigger set pieces. Same wavelength as PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. An animal steals a fair few scenes.
- The mood
- Light and funny, feel-good.
- The pace
- Paced for all ages, at 1 hr 17 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
- What might put you off
- Rated G, but scary moments.
- Probably not for a grown-ups-only night in.
Nothing in the world can make Garfield get involved in anything besides eating, until the muscular super cat Garzooka comes crashing into Cartoon World from the Comic Book universe with terrifying news. Garfield summons up the willpower to join his superhero Garzooka in a fight to save their worlds.
