Monday Morning Maybeearly ratingWhy it’s a Monday Morning Maybe
With just 6% on Rotten Tomatoes, almost no lasting buzz and a lukewarm 48% audience score, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- One for people who love a good growing-up story and people who need a good giggle. It gets the awkwardness and the high stakes of being young. Shelve it next to The Naked Gun. Audiences love it more than critics do: a crowd-pleaser first.
- The mood
- Light and funny.
- The pace
- Lean, with little time wasted, at 1 hr 33 min.
- What might put you off
- Rated PG-13. Probably too much for younger kids.
- Critics were cooler on it than audiences.
- Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.
