Sunday Safe Betearly rating

Why it’s a Sunday Safe Bet

Solid across the board without standing out anywhere. A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: If you count yourself among politics junkies and crime fans, this one's for you. Power and ambition drive every scene. Same wavelength as The Dark Knight or The Asphalt Jungle.
The mood: Dark and gritty.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 2 hr 3 min.
What might put you off: It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Subhash Nagre runs a parallel government in the city where he has a cult following. When his enemies plot to murder him, his son takes charge and stands up against them.
