Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Great for anyone who likes watching someone settle a score and people who start the Christmas movies early. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. Shelve it next to Avengement. Made to be watched with the tree lit.
The mood
Scary, gritty.
The pace
Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 23 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
Not ideal if you just want to unwind.

Izzy is raising her younger brother, Kevin, by herself. Their parents are deceased and her older brother, Rusty, is away in the Marines. When Izzy learns that her little brother is being bullied at school, she does what any unstable, psychopathic, homicidal sister would do.
