Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among spy-story fans and people who'll be humming afterwards, this one's for you. Nobody is quite who they seem. Same wavelength as Ed Wood or Blue Moon. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top.
The mood
Funny with heart.
The pace
Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 30 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

Early 80's, Sara is a good-family girl, she has never been with a man, does not drinks, does not take drugs. Following her love, she enters in "El Calentito" a bar where the group "las Siux" is singing.
