Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a box office loss and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for anyone with a complicated family (so, everyone) and anyone who wants a laugh. Family ties get tested in ways that ring true. Sits nicely alongside Secondhand Lions.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 44 min.
What might put you off: It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

Bauji resists his daughter's request to let her marry the man she loves as the neighbours incessantly shame him. However, his opinion changes after he meets him and he decides to change his viewpoint.
