Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for zombie fans and anyone drawn to bleak, what-if futures. The undead are the backdrop; how people treat each other is the real story. Fans of Shaun of the Dead should feel right at home. It builds a whole broken world and makes you live in it.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Keeps the tension tight, at 1 hr 8 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
  • It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you scare easily or watch alone at night.

The zombies that arose after the nuclear outbreak are still high in numbers. The group of girls have lost some of their comrades and are fighting off the horny zombies to stay alive themselves. Can they stop the plague for once and for all?
