Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: One for fans of a well-timed joke and history buffs. Easy company after a long day. Sits nicely alongside Mr. Turner.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 30 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Made in 1972: an older pace and style.
Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Many are involved in his project, hoping for the huge profits the venture promises. Ceplis soon becomes infatuated with his office typist Austra Zīle and starts neglecting the business...
