With just 34 on Metacritic, a lukewarm 48% audience score and little lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Great for people who love a good growing-up story and anyone looking to switch off and smile. Small moments carry real weight here, the way they do when you're young. Same wavelength as Bottoms or Heathers. Audiences love it more than critics do: a crowd-pleaser first.
- The mood
- Light and funny.
- The pace
- Light on its feet, at 1 hr 20 min. Done before bedtime.
- What might put you off
- Rated R: expect sex.
- Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.
Welcome to T & A High, where the entire student body including campus virgin Purity Busch, chronic masturbator Melvin Jerkovski, repressed Principal Stuckoff and blonde bombshell Bootsie Goodhead all must rise to the challenges of freshman breast exams, bikini cheerleader attacks, inappropriate uses of bowling ball holes and much more.
