Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- One for people who'll be humming afterwards and animal lovers. The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. A good follow-up to Sing. An animal steals a fair few scenes.
- The mood
- Light and funny, feel-good.
- The pace
- Bright and bouncy, at 1 hr 18 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
- What might put you off
- Probably not for a grown-ups-only night in.
Get ready for lots of musical fun in this first full-length movie based on the popular Nick Jr. TV series for preschoolers. Just as friendly cartoon pup Blue and her friends are ready for their big backyard music show, Tickety loses her voice... which means Blue needs a new singing partner! Where will she find one? Sit in your thinking chair, play along and see.
