Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at people who like the lights on afterwards and people who love a story about friendship. The scares come from the creaks and shadows as much as the jumps. Fans of Beetlejuice should feel right at home. The friendships are the beating heart of it.
The mood
Easygoing.
The pace
Moves along nicely, at 15 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Skip it if you like your stories firmly grounded in the real world.

Little Billy’s life is tormented by his scheming aunt who drags him daily to the cemetery and forces him to clean his uncle’s headstone. There Billy meets Myrtle, a little girl ghost stuck between the worlds of the living and the dead. Freeing Myrtle means losing the only friend Billy has ever had.
