Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among anyone who likes life-or-death stakes every episode and anyone who's survived a family wedding, this one's for you. Life-and-death stakes, often at a run. Same wavelength as Bullets Over Broadway or Wedding Crashers. Relationships are put under a microscope, for better or worse.
The mood
Light and funny, romantic.
The pace
Quick and easy-going, at 1 hr 49 min.
What might put you off
  • Rated PG: peril. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
