Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for people who like their stories with a little danger and anyone looking to switch off and smile. A good one for when you want to be swept off somewhere else.
The mood
Funny with heart.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 15 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
  • It's in Portuguese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Some brazilian chicks are kidnapped by girl dealers and carried away on a small airplane to take them to the amazon jungle. What follows is catch as catch can between two groups of gangs... but the girls have fun anyway...
