Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among anyone who likes secrets inside secrets and anyone interested in what war does to people, this one's for you. Nobody is quite who they seem. Sits nicely alongside Notorious or The Man Who Knew Too Much. It puts you in the middle of the fighting, and doesn't let you forget the cost.
The mood
Dark and gritty.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 31 min.
What might put you off
  • Made in 1948: an older pace and style.
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

A security leak is found at a Southern California atomic plant. The authorities stand in fear that the information leaked would go to a hostile nation. To investigate the case more efficiently, Dan O'Hara, an FBI agent, and Philip Grayson, a Scotland Yard sleuth, join forces. Will they manage to stop the spy ring from achieving their aim?
