Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for people who like their stories with a little danger and anyone in the mood for a love story. Paris does a lot of the work, and it looks wonderful. Fans of Sea of Love should feel right at home.
The mood
Dark and gritty, warm and romantic.
The pace
Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 30 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Eric and Sarah are detectives who are investigating the murder of a professor which it seems like a gay hate crime. Married Eric becomes attracted to the pathologist, Emmanuel.
