Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Made for crime fans and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. If you loved Sin City, start here.
The mood
Tense, gritty.
The pace
Fast-moving, at 1 hr 22 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in German, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Made in 1969: an older pace and style.

The ladies at Salon Elisabeth cater to your every need -- manicure, pedicure, peniscure, they do it all, AND make house calls! This is just one outlet in Dr. Edward Caspari's growing high-class prostitution network, and, when the police are just a witness away from taking the whole thing down, girls start disappearing suspiciously. Further complicating matters, one of the working girls is married to a police officer and becomes Dr. Caspari's girlfriend -- whoops!
