Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: One for history and war-film fans and anyone interested in what war does to ordinary people. It puts you in the middle of the fighting, and doesn't let you forget the cost. A good follow-up to Greyhound or The Caine Mutiny.
The mood: Intense.
The pace: Gives its people room to develop, at 1 hr 40 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Made in 1947: an older pace and style.
Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

Slavica, Marin and a group of operants hide the newly built ship from the Italian occupation forces. They end up arrested, but the partisans rescue them and they take part in the string of actions.
