Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Tailor-made for people who like their stories with a little heart-flutter and anyone who loves a strong drama. Best on a quiet night when you're in the mood to feel something. If you loved All That Heaven Allows or Far from Heaven, start here.
The mood
Warm and romantic.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 22 min. Short enough for a weeknight.
What might put you off
Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.

Both original and incredibly romantic, Redwoods tells the story of an already-partnered man whose love is tested when a mysterious drifter passes through his small Northern California town.
