Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and little lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of anyone who loves watching a plan come together and crime fans. Half the pleasure is trying to spot the trick before the reveal. Sits nicely alongside The Asphalt Jungle or The Ladykillers.
The mood
Funny with heart.
The pace
Character-first and patient, at 1 hr 33 min.
What might put you off
Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

Ronnie, Wal, Andy and Vic are four bored, unemployed teens in dreary, rainy Glasgow. Ronnie comes up with a great idea. He has noticed that stainless steel sinks are worth a lot of money and comes up with a complicated scheme: to steal sinks from a warehouse dressed as girls and using a stop-motion-potion.
