Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Tailor-made for anyone who likes watching someone settle a score and fans of mob stories. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. Liked Carlito's Way or Vikram Vedha? This is a good next one. A look inside a world of loyalty, money and betrayal.
The mood
Tense, gritty.
The pace
Grand in scale, at 2 hr 55 min.
What might put you off
  • It's long: 2 hr 55 min.
  • It's in Tamil, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

Billa, a powerful outlaw with a long list of enemies, kills Rajesh, a member of his gang, after he quits the criminal life. But Rajesh's fiancee and his sister pledge to take revenge on Billa.
