Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at anyone drawn to the darker side of the street and anyone who loves trying to stay one step ahead. Plenty of moral grey areas to chew on. Shelve it next to The Naked City or Obsession.
The mood
Tense, gritty.
The pace
Moves at a clip, at 1 hr 34 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Hindi, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Sameer thinks he's found the solution to all his problems when he's hired by a beautiful woman to kidnap her in an elaborate ruse to test her husband's love. But when the woman turns up dead, Sameer finds himself at the center of a dangerous web of lies, deception and murder.
