Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

You might want to keep your phone out for these.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Best for people who love a true story told well and music lovers. Expect to bring it up in conversation afterwards. Fans of Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me or Avicii: True Stories should feel right at home.
The mood: Eye-opening.
The pace: Moves through the story clearly, at 59 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off: Skip it if you want made-up drama tonight.

When the global economy collapses the only true victors are those that weren't invited to the boom. Petey plays in a band and works in a pornography warehouse; Ginger works the night shift in a bar. From opposite coasts of the country, the two provide their personal takes on individual vs. collective crisis, together weaving a narrative that exposes a wasteland of shattered economic dreams, unfulfilled social promises and a bleak reality that only music and friendship can float freely above.
