Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for fans of deadpan, fly-on-the-wall comedy and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. Shot like a documentary, played completely straight. Liked Cloverfield or Super 8? This is a good next one.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 21 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
Not ideal if you just want to unwind.

The town of Midground is threatened by a tsunami caused by a massive earthquake in the North Pacific Ocean. After other unexplainable events transpire, Chase Lombardi and friends are forced to discover whether they are experiencing a natural phenomenon or something else all together.
