Frosty Returns

Weeknight Watchearly ratingWhy it’s a Weeknight Watch
With soft box office and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.
Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Aimed squarely at people who'll be humming afterwards and anyone with a complicated family (so, everyone). The music is woven into the story, not just laid on top. Same wavelength as Descendants 3. Family ties get tested in ways that ring true.
- The mood
- Feel-good.
- The pace
- Bright and bouncy, at 24 min. Done before bedtime.
- What might put you off
- Skip it if you can't get past animation (your loss).
Mr. Twitchell, a greedy old businessman, has invented Summer Wheeze: a spray that instantly removes snow and slush! Now Holly has to keep Frosty from melting, and convince everybody that snow's actually a good thing.
