Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
If you count yourself among fans of a good revenge story and anyone who values honest, human stories, this one's for you. A revenge story, so expect the pressure to build to a reckoning. Same wavelength as Promising Young Woman or Cape Fear. It deals with hard things honestly.
The mood
Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace
Lets scenes breathe, at 1 hr 31 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Italian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you need something light and fast tonight.

A dying man gives his lawyer a tape that manipulates her into taking a posthumous revenge on those who made his life Hell.
