Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do and anyone who likes secrets inside secrets. It plays fair with the clues, so you can play along. Nobody is quite who they seem.
The mood
Funny with heart, tense.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 34 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you like your heroes clean-cut.

Mysteries are revealed like the words "Simple Plan," "Third Secret of Fatima" and also the mysterious white man which are all mentioned in the movie "SPEC: Heaven".
