Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Best for people who can't resist a good whodunit and spy-story fans. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time. Liked Batman Begins or True Romance? This is a good next one. Nobody is quite who they seem.
The mood
Funny with heart, tense.
The pace
Quiet, then quietly devastating, at 1 hr 31 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Japanese, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you're after something serious tonight.

Mysteries are revealed like the words "Simple Plan," "Third Secret of Fatima" and also the mysterious white man which are all mentioned in the movie "SPEC: Heaven".
