Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for anyone who likes secrets inside secrets and anyone who likes to be kept guessing. Nobody is quite who they seem. Liked Charlie Wilson's War? This is a good next one.
The mood
Light and funny, tense.
The pace
Lean, with little time wasted, at 1 hr 28 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off
  • Rated PG. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
  • Not the pick if you want something heavy or meaningful.

James Hatcher embezzles ten million dollars from a joint mafia/CIA operation, leaving them squabbling with each other. Unemployed Lewis Kinney gets caught up in the intrigue, and must try to recover the money, while saving the beautiful Lise Hatcher (hopefully for himself).
