Weeknight Watchearly rating

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: A natural pick for people who like to watch through their fingers and anyone who loves a strong drama. A good one for a late-night scare.
The mood: Scary.
The pace: Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 55 min.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

Krishna has returned to his village, Kagbeni from Malaysia, and is reminiscing with his old friend Ramesh. They come upon an old hermit, who presents them with a cursed monkey's paw that has the power both to grant wishes, and twist their meaning to cause tragedies.
