Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Right up the alley of people who like their stories with a little danger and people who like stories about real, flawed people. One to watch when you can give it your full attention. Fans of The Asphalt Jungle or Taxi Driver should feel right at home.
The mood
Dark and gritty.
The pace
Takes its time with its characters, at 1 hr 13 min. Done before bedtime.
What might put you off

  • Not the one if you want explosions or easy laughs.
