Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Right up the alley of martial arts fans and western fans. The fight choreography is a big part of the appeal. A good follow-up to The Great Silence or Big Trouble in Little China. Dust, horses and a showdown waiting to happen.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: Fast-moving, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off: It's in Italian, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
Made in 1973: an older pace and style.
Not for anyone who finds explosions tiring.

A Chinese immigrant, recently arrived in America, fights to free Mexican slaves from their cruel master.
