Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and soft box office, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
One for fans of small-town stories and anyone who's ever wondered how they'd survive. A place where gossip travels faster than the plot. Shelve it next to In the Mouth of Madness or Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The tension comes from simply getting through the next day.
The mood
Scary.
The pace
Builds dread steadily, at 1 hr 23 min. An easy one to fit in on a school night.
What might put you off
Not one for anyone who hates jump scares.

After she becomes stranded in a small town, a young woman discovers her arrival there was foretold a century earlier by the town's founding preacher and that she is an integral part of his impending - and terrifying - rebirth.
