Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
A natural pick for anyone who's already planned their apocalypse hideout and anyone curious about anime. The undead are the backdrop; how people treat each other is the real story. Shelve it next to Back to the Outback. Made in the anime tradition: bold, emotional and willing to go dark.
The mood
Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace
Lively and easy to follow, at 1 hr 32 min.
What might put you off
  • No age rating on record, so check it first for young kids.
  • Skip it if you can't get past animation (your loss).

Don't cover your eyes or you'll miss the most daring, most shocking Penguins mission ever! Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico come face-to-face with zombies, robots, spooky noises and a whole lot of frightening fun!!! Episodes include: I Was A Penguin Zombie, Driven To The Brink, Haunted Habitat, Lemur See-Lemur Do, Eclipsed, Mort Unbound, Misfortune Cookie and It's About Time.
