Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With a box office flop and almost no lasting buzz, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it
Aimed squarely at fans of a good con and anyone who likes to solve it before the characters do. The fun is in the planning, the double-crosses and the moment it all goes sideways. Shelve it next to The Italian Job or The Naked Gun. The investigation drives everything, one lead at a time.
The mood
Light and funny.
The pace
Wastes no time getting going, at 1 hr 36 min.
What might put you off
  • It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).
  • Skip it if you prefer quiet, talky stories.

A blind detective and his assistant were hired to unmask some young hackers. Under the circumstances, the two investigators joined forces with young "hackers" to fight against a powerful businessman who set up a large telecommunications and computer network in order to defraud the stock market.
